I am hoping for more fuzzy butts!!! As I turned the eggs I placed them on a flat surface and they wiggled, well most of them... And so hopefully we will have a few more fuzzballs running around here! Going to make more brooders for them too.. Going to have waay to many brooders and cages!!! Buying coturnix eggs monday if all goes well, and make a cage and brooder for them as well. Selling a few of my own eggs to a local person because I have some more stellar gamebird button eggs coming tomorrow most likely (a good selection of pied and fallow I hear). So I can't accommodate too terribly many more eggs so I offered up my eggs, in exchange for bator space. Especially since I am getting coturnix eggs I will need that bator space.
Yes... It's true... I have modified it again... I took out the cheap plastic window held in by duct tape and siliconed in a pane of glass...
Ugly... Yes... Perhaps a lil less efficient.. Idk yet.... But one things for sure.... IT LOOKS ALOT CLEARER AND STURDIER!!! The plastic window was falling in and letting humidity and heat out through the roof!!! So tell me what you think... I need some feedback!!!
Trying to find a way to busy my mind... My Nintendo DS doesn't come till about when my shipment of eggs do... *sigh* What to do what to do.... Three cracked viable eggs, and no hatched yet.... -___-
I need a soda or a hard drink!!!
Came home.. Saw the embryo hanging from the bator grate... Fun I know, then saw the another is cracked.. Amazing!!! So I cracked it open the rest of the way, another embryo.. Well thats good to know my kids are going more fertile now... Then I got a comment on my wall post on FB from stellar game birds saying I am on the shipping list for Tuesday!!! YAY!!! Now all I need to do is cat proof my incubator! O.o FML.....!
